Originally established in 2003, Harcourt Architects Limited is an RIAI & RIBA registered practice. We are a multidisciplinary, design focused office specializing in Commercial, Retail, Residential and Master Planning projects.
Central to our ethos is the delivery of projects that are Sensitive, Intelligent, Efficient and Ecologically sound. Over the past 22 years, Harcourt Architects have gained extensive experience on varied commercial projects located in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the USA.
Our interests also include the promotion and adoption of innovation and technology within the construction industry and believe that this methodology will provide many of the solutions critically needed both nationally and internationally.

Justin Kinsella

Founder & Managing Director
Justin studied architecture at Dundee University, specialising in Sustainable Design. After graduating, he gained invaluable experience working in both New York and Dublin before establishing Harcourt Architects. As Director, he has successfully led multidisciplinary design teams on a diverse range of projects, including hospitality venues, commercial offices, bespoke private residences, and large-scale master-planned communities. His work reflects a strong commitment to socially and ecologically responsible development.
In 2021, Justin co-founded Harcourt Technologies Limited. This initiative has influenced his approach to architectural design, emphasising the need for innovative solutions in the built environment.
With a passion for sustainable design and a focus on creating impactful spaces, Justin continues to drive Harcourt Architects' mission to deliver high-quality architectural solutions that meet the evolving needs of communities. His leadership positions the firm at the forefront of contemporary architecture and responsible development.

Richard Mullin

Director
Richard has 20+ years of professional experience working in Ireland, UK and Vietnam. He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from health care to urban regeneration projects involving commercial, residential and retail.
Richard is particularly experienced in detailed coordination with several groups of consultants & end users, enabling him to develop an understanding of complex design, detailing, interfacing, programming & logistical issues.
Richard has been at the forefront of advancing 3D Construction Printing (3DCP) technology, particularly in the Irish and UK housing markets. His pioneering work includes being the first architect in Ireland to deliver a BCaR compliant 3DCP house.

Paul Kelly

Director
Paul has extensive architectural experience spanning over two decades in the UK and Ireland. Graduating from the University of Dundee School of Architecture in 2004, he earned RIBA Chartered Architect status in 2005. Paul specialises in managing projects, excelling in:
• Cultivating key relationships.
• Leading design teams.
• Overseeing seamless project execution.
His leadership and technical expertise have been instrumental to the integration of advanced technologies into the firm’s architectural solutions, helping to set new standards in innovative construction design.

Damien Culligan
MRIAI Conservation at Grade 3
Consultant Architect
Damien studied at DIT Bolton St school of Architecture from 1998-2003. After graduating Damien gained experience at Foster & Partners, Henry J Lyons, Bucholz McEvoy Architects and HKR Architects before establishing his own practice in 2010. Damien is listed as a Conservation Architect Grade 3 with the RIAI and has extensive experience in commercial, educational, conservation and residential design.

Auveen O’Donnell

Part 3 Architect
Auveen is currently completing the RIBA Part 3 qualification with the University of Bath. She envisions architecture as a catalyst for positive change, encouraging social interaction and environmental stewardship. Auveen is dedicated to advocating for designs that promote happiness and connection, contributing to a future where Ireland leads in sustainability and offers inclusive, liveable communities.
Auveen joined Harcourt Architects in 2022, since then she has established herself as an integral member of the firm. Prior to this, Auveen worked with NDBA Architects, and completed TU Dublin’s Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Auveen has worked on small to large scale residential developments, mixed-use developments, and historic conservation. She has also contributed to industry development by teaching BIM skills to colleagues and mentoring architecture students, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
OFFICE OBJECTIVES
We are focused on delivering High Quality, Humane Architectural and Interior solutions. A priority in our Commercial projects is to quickly assimilate the clients requirements, determine and develop the most effective and efficient methodology of procurement.
